Hours:8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday, No Weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Laboratory Technician in our Palmyra, WI, Quality Assurance laboratory. In this position, you will work in a laboratory and manufacturing setting, leading our Quality Assurance laboratory staff in daily operations. All safety requirements will be upheld while executing the responsibilities of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Quality Assurance Department, including:
    o Conduct QC tests as needed
    o QC staff management
    o Oversee daily operations and daily organization of tasks
    o Conduct and organize calibration of laboratory equipment
    o Oversee the maintenance of the calibration system and the records relating to the test equipment
    o Maintain QC records
    o Participate in ISO maintenance and certification responsibilities

Special Requirements:

  • Laboratory Quality Control experience required
  • B.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience is an advantage, but not necessary
  • Must have a driver’s license
  • Pass drug screen

  • Knowledge of laboratory policies and procedures
